A rippling creek flowing down the foothills of Cader Idris mountain passes an ancient 36-40” in diameter oak tree standing on a steep hillside, with a small meadow visible ahead on the right. The scene is along the Ty Nant trail in the Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri), near Dolgellau, Wales.
