Hand-stacked hay in typical small acreage mountain farm. All such hay is usually harvested by hand: cut using a two-hand scythe, rolled several times with a hay fork to dry, and stacked on top of tall pointed stakes to dry further. Or, as some has been done here, it is draped over long wires that are held up by posts.
