Ring-necked Duck (Aythya collaris) and 3 to 5 day old ducklings. Wild as can be, on an open 100 acre lake, but, after more than two hours of cautious courting while lying in my canoe, I finally won enough trust to get within seven feet. I love those fleeting wildlife moments!
