Early winter freeze. The creek looks nearly frozen, and icicles grow out from under cold green ferns, as an early winter freeze settles into the McCord creek canyon below Elowah Falls. The falls -- in the distant background -- has a 12 foot long ice chute forming at the top and about a 30 foot volcano-like cone of ice at the bottom of the falls.
